How to motivate teens to practise Russian?
The purpose of the teachers at Prolangue is to encourage them to speak, speak and then speak some more, all while teaching them the useful expressions as well as the main strategies for learning and using a foreign language.

Lessons in small groups create a healthy peer pressure and encourage children to talk and work together, to play various roles, to express their opinions about subjects relating to their interests (hobbies, movies, series, games,…).

Online lessons
As a legacy of the pandemic, we offer online lessons for children from the age of 5. However, it is obvious that in-class learning is by far better for toddlers.
For children
We choose online lessons lasting no more than 30 minutes for toddlers. The teacher tends to teach just as in class using his imagination, his expertise and the different tools available to keep his audience enthralled. Our motto: to repeat the words and expressions relentlessly while having a ball.
For teenagers
Teaching pre-teens and teens online is much easier. As a matter of fact, ever since the pandemic, children as well as teachers have become accustomed to online classes. The lessons are vibrant and make use of all the tools available (digital textbooks, videos, games and various popular apps).

The ‘Russian as a foreign language’ exam for children (middle and high school)
The РЯПОШ test (daily life Russian for pupils), offered in Moscow by the Pushkin institute, assesses the Russian language level of middle and high school students (aged 10 to 17).
It is recognized with an official diploma. It was drawn up in agreement with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and makes it possible to assess the level (A1 to C2) thanks to exams similar to those of the DELF and other European exam institutes. Each unit obviously takes into account the specific features of the young learner.
